"Basket of Faith" is something I enforced in our Ladies Ministry from the testimony of a
dear Sister in Christ. An example of one our Baskets consist of: Inspirational booklets,
pamphlets, pen, pad, candy, gum and some type of smell good (lotion, bath oil, shower
gel, etc.).
"Basket of Faith" is a starter study basket, after receiving one you would be responsible
for adding the other necessities that consist of your study life into the basket. Once your
basket is complete it is placed where you spend the most of your time and whenever you
see the basket it will urge you to study, rather than for example watch television.
This helped me greatly in my reading and studying of God's Word and so God urged me
to implement it in the Ladies Ministry. "Basket of Faith" has been a trade mark since the
start of S.I.S.T.E.R.S. in 2002 and has been a great success in the lives of many ladies.
There's a "Basket of Faith" drawing at each meeting. Once a name has been drawn they
are onl eligible for special events only.
