TIME IN THE WORD with Pastor Melissa

                              ~ A NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES ~

      Psalm 8:1 ~ O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast set thy glory above
the heavens...

      A name above every name - this is just one of the many descriptions of our Heavenly Father. It's
nothing like having a good name, where your nature and character defines exactly who you are. God's name
is excellent and it becomes Him.

      As proclaiming to be children of God what does your name say about you? Our name should be
excellent and honorable amongst our brothers and sisters in Christ, just as God's is in Heaven and Earth.
Here's a few descriptions of God's name: Provider, Healer, Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Mighty in
Battle, and the list goes on.

      We are to reflect our Heavenly Father and therefore it's important that our name is honorable and
describes just who we are in Christ.

PRAYER:
      Dear Heavenly Father, you have a name that is above all others, I honor, worship and praise you for
being the most High God. I thank you for choosing me to be a reflection of you, please help me to live up to
my name as your child. I love and thank you in your precious Son Jesus name, AMEN, AMEN & AMEN!
