WHAT IS ABSTINENCE
Abstinence means to refrain from something or to do without a certain thing such as: sexual activity, violence, alcohol,
drugs, etc.
WHY ABSTAIN
Our bodies are temples for God's use and we shouldn't treat them any kind of way. We must abstain from things and
activities that are harmful to the body in order to keep it Holy as well as healthy.
WHO SHOULD ABSTAIN
Both male and female should abstain from sexual activity until marriage, both male and female should abstain from all
substance or activity that is harmful to the body such as: cigarettes, drugs, alcohol, violence, sexual activity, etc.
PURPOSE
Our purpose is to reach and encourage our young people and make them aware of the devils tactics. To teach them
about the dangers and consequences of drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, violence, non-marital intercourse and any like thing.
The will be encouraged to abstain from such things and replace them with Godly morals, self-esteem and good
character.
GOAL
Our goal is to raise up responsible teens & children that they will understand the dangers and consequences of
partaking in the acts and or subjects mentioned above. This is not a counseling group but a club that will encourage
youth to think of the consequences before acting and regretting it later. There will be professional speakers come in to
teach and speak on the named subjects. Our goal is to take back as many teens and children from the streets and it's
activities and cause a change in their life so that they can be proud in themselves and then help someone else
"BRACELETS of LOVE & BRACELETS of HOPE"
The Abstinence Club also known as T.A.C. is conformed of two groups: Group one for ages 13yrs to
19yrs and Group two for ages 9yrs to 12yrs.
Upon becoming a member of T.A.C. each teen and child will receive a Membership Card and a bracelet
which is a point of contact used as a memorial for the vow they have made to become and stay
abstinent.
Group 1 will receive a "Bracelet of Love"
Group 2 will receive a "Bracelet of Hope"
Bracelets will differ to distinguish one group from the other.
If you are interested in your child to becoming an online member please click on the link below to fill out
the necessary form and to have your child sign the T.A.C. Pledge. Be sure to give full address with zip
code so that a membership card and bracelet may be sent to them.
