| Mission Statement Our mission is to help mend and encourage the hearts of the youth, to set a good foundation for their spiritual and physical lives. They will be trained in the area of Ministry (leadership, choir, dance, drama, worship, praise, etc.). They will be taught the basics of young adult responsibilities, education, the importance of honesty, how to fill out and submit applications, how to write a resume and anything such like that is of importance. The youth will learn how to build trust in others as well as in themselves, how to talk out their differences rather than act on them. We are not a counseling group, but a support for the youth. We have responsible adults that the youth can confide in if needed as well as supervised discussions between the youth. Discussions will include school, peer pressure, drug awareness, STD's and etc. There will be volunteer motivational speakers come in from time to time and there will be educational as well as fun field trips at least once of month. This group consists of youth from the age 13 to 19. |
